IPAGSA Lithographic Plates Secure & Reliable

A key product line for TAD comes from the Spanish company, Ipagsa, a relatively small player in the global plate market that competes successfully in a world of mass production and commodity supply.

Back in 2005, Ipagsa appointed a South African distributor – PrinTech Supplies, owned by the late Philip D’Alebout. In 2010, the Gauteng-based business merged with Cape Town’s Flexo Pre-Press & Press Supplies cc, operated by Adrian Gildenhuys, giving the operation a firm footing in the Western Cape market.

Since those days, sales of Ipagsa plates have spiralled in the local market. Ipagsa claims to be the only independent European producer of digital CTP plates unaligned with specific equipment and will be showing its wares at this year’s Drupa exhibition in Dusseldorf, including its recently launched range of CTP machines and processors to complement its well-known plates.
